Property Tax Protesting Coordination
We coordinate and bill property tax protesting through a third-party partner to help reduce your property tax burden and challenge out-of-line appraised values.
How it works
Challenge out-of-line values
We help contest inflated or out-of-line appraised values that can unnecessarily inflate your annual property tax bill.
Coordinated on your behalf
We handle the coordination and billing so you don't have to manage the protest process or deadlines yourself.
Only pay when you save
Pricing is a cost pass-through set at 30% of the tax amount saved — and $0 if there is no savings or reduction.
Handled by tax protest specialists
The protest itself is completed by our partner, Peyco Southwest Realty, Inc., who specializes in property tax protests.
Important disclosure
- We do not complete the property tax protest directly. The protest is performed by our third-party partner, Peyco Southwest Realty, Inc.
- Pricing is a cost pass-through set at 30% of the tax amount saved, and $0 if there is no savings or reduction. It must be opted in through the AOA (Authorization of Agent).
- You are responsible for any successful-protest invoices being reimbursed or paid to Peyco directly, regardless of the continuation of management with us.
Do not use this if your property has a tax-freezing exemption
If your property carries an exemption that freezes your taxes, an appraisal reduction will not affect your taxed amount — and you may still be charged the 30% fee if a protest results in a reduction. Please contact us first if you are unsure whether this applies to your property.

Frequently asked questions
Does Teixeira PM complete the tax protest directly?
No. We do not complete the property tax protest ourselves. We coordinate and bill the service through our third-party partner, Peyco Southwest Realty, Inc., who performs the actual protest work.
How is it priced?
Pricing is a cost pass-through set at 30% of the tax amount saved. If there is no savings or reduction, the cost is $0. The service must be opted in through the AOA (Authorization of Agent).
Should I use this if my property has a tax-freezing exemption?
No. If your property carries an exemption that freezes your taxes, we recommend not protesting through this service. A reduction in appraised value will not lower your frozen taxed amount, and you may still be charged the 30% fee if a protest results in an appraisal reduction. Reach out to us first if you're unsure whether this applies to your property.
Who pays for a successful protest?
You are responsible for any successful-protest invoices, which are reimbursed or paid to Peyco directly. This obligation applies regardless of whether your management relationship with us continues.
How do I add it?
Select it as an add-on during sign up. Because it involves a third party, it must be formally opted in through the AOA before coordination begins.
